Brisbane Gay and Lesbian Business Network
We are a group of professional people that enjoy socialising and networking without being on the scene - in venues that are actually quiet enough to hear each other speak.
The GLBN have social drinks once a month in Teneriffe and mix bi-monthly events between active (canoeing for example) and food (breakfast or dinner) sometimes with guest speakers.
We are also very active in supporting different organisations in the community with sponsorship and funding.
The GLBN is currently developing an employment hub - connecting employees with employers as well as a thinktank for those interested in starting a business but not quite sure how to go about it, or needing some extra help!
