Indigenous Sexual Health Unit
This is a health promotion team of two indigenous health workers which offer a wide range of educational, preventative, training, care and support services for individuals and communities affected by sexually transmissible infections (including HIV/AIDS) and other sexual health concerns.
However, in recognition that no health issue within the indigenous community can be addressed in isolation, this team is committed to working with people in a wide range of health and social matters such as drug and alcohol, diabetes, heart disease, domestic and sexual violence, maternal and child welfare.
