Rainbow Youth Mackay

Rainbow Youth Mackay (RYM) is a social support group for young LGBT people in the Mackay region.
The group formed over twelve months ago and since nominating their management committee in 2009 have developed their website and calendar of events, including:

• camping
• movie screenings
• dance parties
• fundraising activities

RYM meet every third Sunday of the month for a BBQ in the park, where all food is provided and is an excellent opportunity for people to meet and greet, relax and socialise.
Bi-monthly dance parties are now swinging into action with some community support and are proving to be great fun and entertaining evenings.
